A start that sets the track on fire, in all safety
Very appreciated by adults to combine hysterical laughter between friends, friendly competition and the thrill of speed, go-karting represents an original idea for a family outing. That is if you can find the right track, accessible to both the youngest and not only teens and adults…
For this reason, we have developped an offer of children go-karting in Lyon that allows both children and adults to have fun on the track.
According to your child’s age, three possibilities are at your disposal :
- From the age of 5 : our two-seater go-karts allows you to seat your child on the passenger seat while you are in charge of the driving
- By putting is hands on the fixed wheel, your child will become your co-pilot.
- From the age of 7 : our children go-karts are accessible to children with a minimum height of 1m25. Easy to handle and drive, these mini model have a HONDA engine of 160cm3. Far less powerful than an adult go-kart, it is equipped with a bucket seat, pedals and wheel, all of them can be adjusted to fit all drivers, no matter their height or their morphology. Its power can be lessened and adapted to your child’s level of driving, as well as allowing him to be more confident on the track and in his driving skills.
- From the age of 11 : teens can hop on aboard our adult go-karts, with a speed up to 70km/h !
Of course, no matter his age, if your child has some apprehension about driving alone, it is perfectly possible to rent our two-seater go-kart for a peaceful parent/child go-karting moment.
What about the safety ?
Our team takes your safety very seriously !
Our children go-karts (from the age of 7) have been built to guarantee for the novice pilots a smooth driving experience, without bumps. Even when pressing like a mad man on the pedals, there’s no risk of hurting yourself !
Karting Evasion’s team keeps a close eye on the safety of all drivers, and doesn’t hesitate to share advice with the younger pilots, to help them get the hang of driving their go-karts.
In all cases, and to guarantee your safety, helmets and neck braces adapted to the youngest drivers will be given to you before seating in the go-karts.
Finally, all of our vehicules and equipments are rigorously checked by our team before each race.
Our prices for children’s sessions
Karting Evasion, its a 400m outddor track, less than 30mn away from Lyon.
We welcome children on the track from the age of 5.
Here are our prices for a 10mn sesion of family go-karting :
- two-seater go-kart (from the age of 5) : 38€ when in a twosome with an adult (price includes the adult’s place)
- mini go-kart(from the age of 7) : 15€ or 13€ with the membership card
- From the age of 11 : 18€ the session with reduced price aboard an adult go-kart
- 25€ the session for parents and adults.
