Who's behind Karting Évasion, the Rhône-Alpes fun professional?
This is the story of a passion: that of Dimitri, a winegrower undergoing conversion. Some fifteen years ago, he discovered the Bully karting circuit and immediately spotted its potential. Situated 20 minutes from Lyon and Villefranche-sur-Saône, the site offers 6,000 m² of natural surroundings and a 400 m runway.
Karting Évasion has been open to the public since 2002. Under the impetus of Dimitri and his children, who are passionate about motor sports, the circuit has become an essential reference for karting in the Lyon region.
The team’s focus is on a karting experience that’s friendly, safe and accessible to all. Karting Évasion welcomes children, teenagers and adults, individually or in groups. The site also offers two-seater karting sessions adapted for PRMs.
What does our karting track near Lyon look like?

Our kart track combines technical turns, straight lines for speed and overtaking zones to spice up the races.
The circuit is open to all, and there’s something for everyone. From the age of 4 upwards, youngsters are introduced to karting on a safe track, while experienced drivers improve their technique and get a shot of adrenalin.
Our aim is to provide a user-friendly electric karting experience. Karting Évasion offers four categories of machines:
- two-seater karts for children aged 4 and over ;
- karts for children aged 7 to 10 ;
- karts for teenagers aged 11 to 15 ;
- karts for adults 270cc.
