How to discover karting at any age?
Our karting packages for children in Lyon are available from age 7 and are structured in two packs.
- From 7 to 10 years old, the youngest are at the wheel of adapted mini-karts. Their 120cc engines allow power to be adjusted for safe progress. The machines are easy to handle, with full seat, pedal and steering wheel adjustments for improved ergonomics. Each kids’ kart session focuses on safety: using the brake, negotiating turns, managing speed and the track…
- From the age of 11, children drive 270cc karts with bridles. This solution enables a gradual transition to adult karts. Mastery of the machine and responsible driving are always at the heart of the coaching.
With a kart suitable for children under 10, everyone has fun and no one is left out! For younger children (4 years and over), we even rent two-seater karts.
What karting equipment and supervision do we offer for children?
Our junior karts are adapted to the morphology of the youngest riders for comfortable and safe driving. Power settings are adapted to the level of each apprentice driver.
A qualified team provides constant support. Before each session, children are given clear instructions to follow throughout their laps.
In terms of equipment, our packages include :
- children’s kart rental;
- access to the karting track;
- loan of an anti-bacterial helmet and neck brace.
Before departure, our team checks every piece of equipment and safety gear.
Our 400 m outdoor track is easily accessible from Lyon. This extra-urban environment offers a pleasant experience for a family day out in the fresh air.
How much does a karting or driving course for children cost?
For 7-10 year-olds, Karting Évasion offers a Mini pack comprising one to three ten-minute driving sessions. Prices range from 23 to 58 euros per person, including equipment and supervision.
For 11-15 year-olds, the Fun option is available for between 25 and 62 euros, depending on the number of sessions.
Finally, teenagers and adults can enjoy the activity for between 29 and 72 euros per pilot.
By taking out a membership card, available at the single price of 10 euros, you benefit from a discount of around 15% on our karting rates. For every ten sessions, we’ll give you one free session!
Can we celebrate a child's 10th birthday at Karting Évasion?
We offer several birthday packages for children aged 7 to 14. Take advantage of a package including snack, drinks and various activities: go-karting, sumo or laser game. Prices range from 27 to 65 euros per person, depending on the period and the package chosen.
